Winnats Pass In Derbyshire Mug

Featuring Winnats Pass,  a limestone valley in the peak district.   The name is a corruption of ‘wind gates’ due to the swirling winds through the pass. popular with cyclists, the pass also has old caves and mines, relics from lead mining in 18th century Castleton.

Lisa Swift is a local artist from just north of Chesterfield.  A couple of years ago she was introduced to drawing digitally on an iPad.  Although she continues to love pencil drawing and painting, drawing digitally has also become one of her favourite mediums. Derbyshire with the Peak District are on her doorstep and a wonderful source of inspiration.  She loves drawing landscapes, buildings and wildlife. Lisa hopes to build her collection of landscapes and beautiful buildings whilst visiting places such as Yorkshire, Kent and her favourite location in the UK, Devon.
