Featuring Hardwick Hall, set in 120 acres of parkland and built between 1590 and 1597, this beautiful building was built for Elizabeth the countess of Shrewsbury. Known by a well known local saying ‘more glass than walls’ because of the size of the windows increasing in size from the ground floor up.
