Chesterfield Marketplace Fridge Magnet

Chesterfield is well known for it’s outdoor marketplace – one of the largest in the UK. The beautiful building which stands behind it is the Market Hall was built in 1857 by Frederick Swanwick and The Chesterfield Market Company.

This fridge magnet features an illustration of Chesterfield’s Market Hall and the Marketplace.

Lisa Swift is a local artist from just north of Chesterfield.  A couple of years ago she was introduced to drawing digitally on an iPad.  Although she continues to love pencil drawing and painting, drawing digitally has also become one of her favourite mediums. Derbyshire with the Peak District are on her doorstep and a wonderful source of inspiration.  She loves drawing landscapes, buildings and wildlife. Lisa hopes to build her collection of landscapes and beautiful buildings whilst visiting places such as Yorkshire, Kent and her favourite location in the UK, Devon.
