Description
Sheffield Cathedral is the oldest building in Sheffield still in daily use. Formerly the Parish Church of Sheffield, it was granted Cathedral status in 1914. Surviving the Sheffield Blitz of 1940 with only minor damage to the west end, the major ‘Gateway Project’ renovations were completed in 2014.
