Try to initially burn the candle long enough so that the wax creates a pool right to the edge of the jar. This takes around 2-4 hours. This helps to ensure an even burn and reduces the wax left up the sides of the jar.
Trim the wick down and make sure that it is straight before lighting the candle each time. This gives a cleaner, brighter, and more even burn.
Replacing the lid between uses will help to retain the scent in the wax.
Ensure that the candle is away from any soft furnishing or flammable objects. Do not leave a lit candle unattended.
Do not drop spent matches into the hot wax, as this can cause the jar to crack.
When the candle is finished, simply wash out the jar with hot soapy water and reuse it!
