Description
Grow a garden containing a special mix of wildflowers to attract a wide diversity of insects that bats feed on, including flowers that release their fragrance in the evening when bats are most active in our gardens.
These seedballs have been created in collaboration with scientists at The Natural History Museum. The mix includes flowers that release their fragrance in the evening when bats are most active in our gardens.
These seedballs would make a lovely gift on Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, a birthday or to say thank you to a teacher.
Made From
Each seedball contains approximately 30 seeds from a mix of night-scented stock, wallflower, primrose, borage, cornflower and corn marigold.
They are best scattered in Spring or Autumn.
All the flowers within the seedballs are on the RHS Plants for Pollinators list which makes them ideal for bees and other pollinating insects.
Dimensions
Each tin has 20 seed balls, enough to cover 1 metre square in a garden bed or 3-5 medium sized pots (leave at least 10cm between each ball).
